Dear Duffy Families and Staff,
The Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) Board is excited for the new school year to start. We have lots of fun activities planned for you and your children. To start, the Welcome Wagon will take place on Thursday, September 22nd at 5:45pm in the cafeteria. All new families to the school and incoming Kindergarten families are invited to attend. Following the welcome meal, the first PTO Meeting will be held at 6:30pm. ALL parents are encouraged to attend. Here we will review the PTO budget. Please come to find out how the PTO spends its dollars. Last year we gave over $55,000 back to the school and community.
Fund It is now being chaired by Michelle Cavo. Fund It is a fundraiser where Stop and Shop gift cards are purchased and a percentage of the money goes to the Duffy PTO and back to the school. You can purchase one or several gift cards each month. Parents, teachers, staff, and friends of the community not at Duffy School participate in this program. Thank you to all the Committee Chairs who have volunteered this year. You will see the chairs list in the Duffy Directory. It is not too late to be on a committee. Contact us if you are interested. It is a great way to get involved and meet new people at school. EMAIL US
